Welcome to Alpine Backpackers

Here at Alpine Backpackers, we have a great Rustic style Lodge right by the ski resort, over looking Furano with a view that stretches to the Taisetsuan Range and a smoking volcano.We have many tours to suit whatever you may be looking for. Anyone from children to the more advanced in age, singles, or couples to big groups. We have a tour for everyone.
All of our experienced and friendly guides and staff will provide the warmest of welcome and most enjoyable experiences.

Rooms

Alpine Backpackers has room's varying from twins to rooms for up to 6 people. The hostel can hold 32 people in all. Alpine Backpackers is a perfect place for any large group. Singles will also love being able to meet other like-minded folk.

Cooking

24h open Full cooking facilities equipped.Convenience store is very close from accomodation.Anytime you want Cook your own food ,you can do it.

Breakfast

A Perfect Breakfast to start the day.(¥500〜)
Before you head out to the ski slopes or enjoy Furano's summer activities Alpine Backpackers up a delicious breakfast of handmade bread which we bake fresh every morning. Along with Soup. Coffee & Herb tea you'll start your day off well.

Check in/Check out

Check In is from 3:00.
If you come later than 9:00 please come around to the side entrance off the driveway.
Check Out is by 10:00.
Of course we can hold your things while you ski or enjoy one of our tours.

Bathing

All Bathing facilities are Japanese style. This means you can have a big hot bath to soak in after your activities here.

We have both Japanese and Western style toilets so you don't need to worry about falling in.

Washing and Drying Facilities

Alpine Snow & Adventure Hostel has both washing machines & dryers on location for guests convenience.

Restaurants and Night Life

As Alpine Snow & Adventure Hostel is located next to the ski area there are some goods restaurants and bars serving a wide selection of mostly Japanese foods. but also some great Western dishes. All one needs is a few minutes walk to get to any of these places and about 4 minutes down the road to the closest convenience store.
Furano city is about 1km, or a 15-minute or so walk away. There are many restaurants, bars and many other forms of nightlife and entertainment that you may be after to be found thave.
There are many taxis to be found at anytime of the day or night and it's a cheap fare back to the hostel.

Big Group taxi Service

Alpine Snow & Adventure Hostel has a bus, which can be used for groups to get around. This service extends to pick-up & drop-off to CHITOSE Airport, Sapporo's International Airport just a little over 2 hours from Furano.
This service is flexible but requires about 4 people. We have a bus, so can take much larger groups
