By bus from Shin-Chitose airport to Furano ski resort.about 179km 3hour.
By bus from Asahikawa airport to Furano ski resort.
about 60km or 1hour.
By train from Sapporo station to Furano station. You must transfer at Takikawa. The train takes about 3hour from the Airport and 2 hours from Sapporo
Furano Ski Area
Furano ski area provides great skiing for all levels. There is an abundance of varied terrain. From long, wide and gentle beginner slopes, long groomers, some very steep groomed runs, steep untouched courses that you'll often find knee deep in powder, to long night skiing. Amazing powder consistently dumps on Furano, leaving skiers and boarders alike with huge smiles.Furano is the only ski resort in Hokkaido to have hosted the Down Hill World Cup. This is a testament to the great skiing and snow boarding and snow that Furano offers.
